Location:   Bangalore, India.

At Open-Silicon, you will become part of an exciting, dynamic and fun IP engineering team that will challenge your ASIC front-end design/back-end design engineering, integration, personal communications and IP applications skills for the various ASICs in networking, telecom, storage and consumer market space.

Min Educational Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field. MSEE is preferred.

Relevant Experience:  1 – 2 years of experience in IP/Library Design (standard cells, memories, I/O’s, Analog Blocks etc)/Application Engineering.

Job Description:

  • Work very closely with IP Vendors and customers in defining, qualifying and procuring new custom and existing digital blocks.
  • Qualification and integration of several types of standard cells, memories, I/O’s and digital cores in SoCs.
  • Perform Analog simulations like SSO etc. on blocks for evaluation.
  • Provide product and technical support to other Engineering teams.
  • Experience in analog/mixed signal circuit design and/or DDRX PHYs/SerDes. The key word is circuit design.
  • Experience running Signal and Power Integrity in channel simulations

Requirements:

  • Experience with Front-end or Back-end (Including HSPICE) tools from Cadence, Synopsys and Mentor.
  • Good understanding of IP design, ASIC Design Flow and integration related issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to write scripts for automation.
