OPEN-SILCON ANNOUNCES THE INAUGURATION OF THEIR FIRST DESIGN CENTER UNIT (DCU)

Heralds in a novel concept in Silicon Engineering with the opening of a new Bangalore facility

Bangalore, July 5, 2005: Open-Silicon, Inc., a fabless ASIC company that provides a predictable, reliable and cost-effective alternative to traditional chip design and supply chain models, today reiterated their growth and launched the first Design Center Unit at their new facility in Bangalore. The new facility will allow Open-Silicon to accelerate their growth plans as well as R&D for next generation technologies.

Open-Silicon India houses the first Design Center Unit (DCU) for Open-Silicon worldwide. The DCU is a revolutionary approach that Open-Silicon has developed to scale engineering teams efficiently. A DCU uses dynamic staffing of technology experts who are specialized in particular areas of silicon engineering. This ensures our customers get a repeatable, predictable and reliable design process for custom ASIC development.
